Quiet street, wooden floors, lovely patio area
The location is a bit inconvenient for dining and attractions!!! Navigating the two flights of steep stairs can be exhausting, especially adjusting to altitude!!! Shower pressure is hit or miss, not acceptable for the price!!!

The hotel was located close enough to good restaurant options, and taxis and directions. The breakfast was amazing with cheese, fresh juices, fruit and had something for everyone. The accommodation had a residential location in a calm area.

A quiet retreat with helpful staff
El Museo Hotel Boutique provided a peaceful atmosphere and helpful staff, who even accommodated my dietary restrictions with gluten-free options. The breakfast was good, and having hot beverages available all day was a treat!
I faced some challenges with the shower with low water pressure. This.

Stunning central location near to the cable car running up to El Alto, the city sights, and central La Paz and Sopocachi. It also was on the outskirts of the main district...
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was rather slow.

comfortable stay but some minor issues
The staff was accommodating, allowing us early check-in which set a positive tone for our stay. The family room we stayed in was expansive, providing plenty of space for my husband and two teens. I appreciated the unique charm of each room, especially the good garden view . The breakfast exceeded my expectations, with delicious local options.
Navigating the two flights of steep stairs became tiring after long days of exploration.

The staff was super helpful, especially Gladys, who assisted us with transportation and local tips. The rooms were comfy, and we loved the terrace. We explored the nearby Musical Instruments Museum and took in the beauty of the San Francisco Church. Just a heads-up, there are two flights of stairs to reach the hotel, so be prepared!
One thing to note is that I found myself out of breath after climbing the two flights of stairs daily, which can be tiring, especially if you're not used to the altitude.
